Bullard Education Foundation has multiple campaigns to fundraise and promote awareness in order to raise funds to award our Grants. We have two annual fundraising events currently and also partner with East Texas Giving Communities for East Texas Giving Day in April.
The first event is in the fall for local sponsors to support and the community to participate in. In the past, we have hosted fun runs, and most recently, we have joined the trend of hosting a themed Mahjong event. This year is our third annual sold-out Mahjong event, with fun raffles and a Best Dressed Table prize donated by Solon & Douglas! This year’s event is hosted at Eagle’s Bluff Country Club.
The second event is our main contributor to funds being raised and is the BEF Gala. This Gala is our annual spring fundraising event and has been instrumental in generating community awareness as to the purpose of Bullard Education Foundation, as well as how we partner with Bullard ISD and local businesses and individuals who want to give back to the ISD. Our Gala is held at Eagle’s Bluff Country Club and we utilize the assistance of the BHS Culinary, Floral and FFA programs. Along with fun entertainment and dinner, we also host a live and online auction, as well as Heads or Tails and “Fund the Grant” opportunities.
